Tell us about your home — how many windows, what you want fixed (storm safety, heat, noise), and the best way to reach you. We'll respond with next steps and a clear quote.

Step 1: The measuring visit (free)

We visit your home and measure every window and door opening — inside and out. We look at the condition of the frames, the wall material (block, frame, stucco), and access for each opening. We talk through glass and frame options and answer your questions. Then we build your written quote from the real measurements, not guesses.

Step 2: Ordering (the longest part)

Every window is custom-built to your measurements. Manufacturing typically takes a few weeks — longer during hurricane-season rushes, when every factory in Florida is slammed. This is the main reason to start in spring rather than August. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.

Step 3: Permit

We pull the building permit and schedule the work. You don't deal with the county — that's our job.

Step 4: Installation day(s)

Here's what install day looks like: the crew arrives and sets up drop cloths. They work one opening at a time — old window out, opening prepped, new window set, sealed, insulated, and trimmed. Your home is never left wide open. Each opening takes roughly 30–60 minutes depending on size and condition. Most homes finish in 2–4 days.

Expect noise — cutting, drilling, and old frames coming out. Expect dust — we contain it with drop cloths and clean daily, but window work is construction. Plan to be home or reachable, and keep pets secured away from the work areas.

Step 5: Inspection and walkthrough

The county or city inspects the finished work — we schedule it. Then we walk the house with you, open and close every window, check every lock and seal, and show you how everything operates. You sign off when you're satisfied.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to move furniture before install day?

Move furniture and valuables a few feet back from each window, and take down curtains, blinds, and wall decorations near the openings. We'll tell you exactly what to clear before we arrive.

Will my house be open to the weather during installation?

No. We do one opening at a time — the old window comes out and the new one goes in before we move on. If a storm pops up mid-job, every opening is either finished or covered.

How messy is it?

Honestly, moderately messy. There's dust from cutting and old sealant. We use drop cloths, vacuum as we go, and haul away all old windows and debris. Most homeowners are surprised how clean it is at the end of each day.
